The Reformed Parish is a Christian outreach in central Rhode Island, an extension of the witness of the Presbyterian Reformed Church. Our testimony is “that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Cor. 5:19-21).
You are welcome to join us at our regular worship services, at 10:30 a.m. every Lord’s day (Sunday). We also have 2nd services at 1:30 p.m. on 1st and 3rd Lord’s days and catechism at 12:15 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th. We meet at the Rocky Hill Grange on Route 2, about 15-20 minutes south of Providence. It is located just south of Cardi’s and Showcase Cinemas.
Our pastor Rev. Michael Ives graduated from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (M.Div.) in 2005. Rev. Ives and his wife have been blessed with a son and three daughters.
Rev. Ives, has adopted a neighborhood in a working class neighborhood of South Providence. In his door-to-door ‘parish’ outreach, he has developed many Spanish speaking contacts, mainly immigrants and their children from the Dominican Republic. God has opened many doors, and we are now having monthly meetings, partly in English, partly in Spanish. Please keep these efforts in your prayers.
