Here are the students of New Covenant Christian Academy in the Battery Factory area of Monrovia. Pastor Timothy Begg is the Superintendent of the school. Pastor Begg also teaches Bible at the school. He is currently utilizing a curriculum which focuses on a three-year repeating Bible Survey and study of the Shorter Catechism put together by the Liberia Project. Pastor Begg also shepherds the flock at New Covenant Church along with two other officers. Pastor Begg participated in our course on the Westminster Confession last year. He is actively engaged in leading a group of adults in his congregation this year in the study of the Shorter Catechism utilizing sermons by Pastor Roy Mohon.
Pastor Worrell will arrive in Liberia on the evening of March 9th.
He plans to visit Pastor Begg and his congregation on March 10th. He also hopes to meet with a ministerial fraternal of twelve men that Pastor Begg is involved with. On the Lord’s Day March 11th Pastor Worrell plans to visit Rock Spring Reformed Presbyterian Church. He will have an opportunity to visit with the six orphans and their adoptive parents that we sponsor.
On March 12th Pastor Worrell will travel to African Bible College up in the mountains in the town of Yekepa. He plans to teach there for two weeks. He will teach on ‘The Missionary Journeys of Paul’, ‘The Interpretation of the Bible’, and ‘Apologetics’. He also plans to visit the Karnplay church planting effort on March 17th, and preach and teach at First Presbyterian Church of Yekepa on March 18th. Lord willing, Pastor Worrell will spend his last week operating out of the ABC house in Paynesville, teaching and preaching in four congregations in the vicinity of Monrovia.
Please pray for the facility and students at New Covenant Christian Academy and the African Bible College. Please also pray for Pastor Worrell’s physical and spiritual strength during his visit.
